Educators: Worried about what your students are doing on their devices? How might that impact their future educational and employment opportunities? Have you ever thought it might be gambling? Do you know there are gambling mechanics within gaming?
This 1.5 hour webinar designed for educators will discuss the motivations behind and concerns regarding online behaviours while gaining an understanding about gambling-like features within video games. We will also explore how these can possibly lead to gambling harms for young people experiencing vulnerabilities as they prepare themselves for employment or higher education.
We will also discuss ways to build on these areas as part of a conversation and where to find additional support.
The session will be delivered by the Scottish Gambling Education Hub, a Fast Forward project.
