Key data from West Lothian

In the last 12 months to the 31st of March 2020 we supported 14 employers and 498 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of 31st of March 2020 there were 1,277 Modern Apprentices in training. The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in West Lothian is 75%.

From 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2020 we supported 979 Modern Apprenticeship starts.

In 2018-19, there were 14 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 32 registered with employers based in the area.

From 1st June 2019 to 31st March 2020 we delivered 12,780 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 6,882 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

From 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2020 we funded 253 Employability Fund starts.

From 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2020 we delivered 3,186 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 1,235 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2019 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 7,944 16-19 year olds in West Lothian 90.6% were in education, employment or training and personal development.
