Key data from West Lothian

From 1st of April 2020 to 31st of December 2020 we have supported 16 employers and 263 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of the 1st of January 2021 there were 1,116 Modern Apprentices in training. The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in West Lothian is 73%.

From 1st April 2020 to 1st January 2021 we supported 344 Modern Apprenticeship starts.

In 2019-20 there were 50 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 25 registered with employers based in the area.

From 1st June 2020 to 31st December 2020 we delivered 5,747 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 4,235 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

From 1st April 2020 to 31st December 2020, 3,544 people have registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

My World of Work

From 1st April 2020 to 1st January 2021 we funded 221 Employability Fund starts.

From 1st April 2020 to 31st December 2020 we delivered 2,344 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 806 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2020 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 8,033 16-19 year olds in West Lothian 92.4% were in education, employment or training and personal development.
