Key data from North Lanarkshire

From 1st of April 2020 to 31st of December 2020 we have supported 29 employers and 1,333 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of the 1st of January 2021 there were 2,622 Modern Apprentices in training. The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in North Lanarkshire is 76%.

From 1st April 2020 to 1st January 2021 we supported 827 Modern Apprenticeship starts.

In 2019-20 there were 83 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 79 registered with employers based in the area.

From 1st June 2020 to 31st December 2020 we delivered 8,393 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 5,898 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

From 1st April 2020 to 31st December 2020, 3,755 people have registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

My World of Work

From 1st April 2020 to 1st January 2021 we funded 400 Employability Fund starts.

From 1st April 2020 to 31st December 2020 we delivered 4,549 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 1,534 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2020 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 15,139 16-19 year olds in North Lanarkshire 90.7% were in education, employment or training and personal development.
