In the last 12 months to the 30th of June 2019 we supported 15 employers and 438 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of 28th of June 2019 there were 2,920 Modern Apprentices in training.

From 1st April 2019 to 28th June 2019 we supported 407 Modern Apprenticeship starts.

The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in North Lanarkshire is 73%.

From 1st June 2018 to 31st May 2019 we delivered 29,163 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 14,626 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

From 1 April 2019 to 30 June 2019, 2,237 people have registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

From 1st April 2019 to 28th June 2019 we funded 176 Employability Fund starts.

From 1st April 2019 to 30th June 2019 we delivered 1,430 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 731 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2019 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 15,117 16-19 year olds in North Lanarkshire 90.1% were in education, employment or training and personal development.

We help local employers in North Lanarkshire make sure they have the right skills now and in the future by providing support and advice on skills, talent development and funding.

Supporting partners in North Lanarkshire

We work closely with schools across North Lanarkshire, supporting the My World of Work aspects of the School Partnership Agreements. Your local Partner Development and Integration Executive can help with:

Delivery of the successful My World of Work School Ambassador programme
Raising awareness and building capacity amongst teachers to use all the online resources available, including the recently developed Lesson Inserts
Developing new Lesson Inserts. A simple way to link the curriculum with careers

We’ve also organised update and awareness sessions amongst other local partner organisations to embed My World of Work into their services. This has included working with New College Lanarkshire, to ensure that My World of Work is placed firmly at the heart of their organisation.
