Key data from Angus

As of the 25 June 2021 there were 893 Modern Apprentices in training.

From 1 April to 25 June 2021 we supported 94 Modern Apprenticeship starts. 36.2% of the starts in the local area were aged 16-24.

The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in Angus is 75.2%.

From 1 June 2020 to 31 May 2021 we delivered 6,904 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 3,931 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

From 1 June 2020 to 31 May 2021 of the 6,479 maintained school pupils in the local authority, 90% were registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

My World of Work

From 1 April to 25 June 2021 we funded 48 Employability Fund starts.

From 1 April to 30 June 2021 we delivered 439 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 208 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2021 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 4,792 16-19 year olds in Angus 92.4% were in education, employment or training and personal development.

In 2020-21 there were 36 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 18 registered with employers based in the area.

In 2020, 149 pupils started Foundation Apprenticeships in schools at SCQF Level 4-6 in this area.

In 2019-20 we invested over £4m in the local area.
