In the last 12 months to the 30th of June 2019 we supported 4 employers and 51 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of 28th of June 2019 there were 862 Modern Apprentices in training.

From 1st April 2019 to 28th June 2019 we supported 78 Modern Apprenticeship starts.

The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in Angus is 74%.

From 1st June 2018 to 31st May 2019 we delivered 8,871 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 4,502 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

From 1 April 2019 to 30 June 2019, 938 people have registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

From 1st April 2019 to 28th June 2019 we funded 61 Employability Fund starts.

From 1st April 2019 to 30th June 2019 we delivered 391 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 205 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2019 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 4,763 16-19 year olds in Angus 90.8% were in education, employment or training and personal development.

Supporting business in Angus

We help local employers in Angus make sure they have the right skills now and in the future by providing support and advice on skills, talent development and funding.

Supporting partners in Angus

We work closely with schools across Angus, supporting the My World of Work aspects of the School Partnership Agreements. Your local Partner Development and Integration Executive can help with:

Delivery of the successful My World of Work School Ambassador programme
Raising awareness and building capacity amongst teachers to use all the online resources available, including the recently developed Lesson Inserts]
Developing new Lesson Inserts. A simple way to link the curriculum with careers

We’ve also organised update and awareness sessions amongst other local partner organisations to embed My World of Work into their own services. This has included close ties with Dundee & Angus College to trial new ways to increase capacity building with staff to promote career management skills.
