Key data from South Lanarkshire

From 1st of April 2020 to 31st of March 2021 we have supported 37 employers and 982 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of the 1st of March 2021 there were 2,445 Modern Apprentices in training. The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in South Lanarkshire is 76%.

From 1st April 2020 to 1st January 2021 we supported 670 Modern Apprenticeship starts.

In 2019-20 there were 63 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 33 registered with employers based in the area.

From 1st June 2020 to 31st March 2021 we delivered 15,391 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 9,361 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

From 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2021, 7,318 people have registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

My World of Work

From 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2021 we funded 588 Employability Fund starts.

From 1st April 2020 to 31st March we delivered 5,019 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 1,945 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2020 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 13,416 16-19 year olds in South Lanarkshire 92.7% were in education, employment or training and personal development.
