Key data from South Lanarkshire

In the last 12 months to the 31st of March 2020 we supported 24 employers and 325 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of 31st of March 2020 there were 2,601 Modern Apprentices in training. The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in South Lanarkshire is 76%.

From 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2020 we supported 1,926 Modern Apprenticeship starts.

In 2018-19, there were 20 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 37 registered with employers based in the area.

From 1st June 2019 to 31st March 2020 we delivered 21,362 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 11,312 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

From 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2020, 12,016 people have registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

My World of Work

From 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2020 we funded 662 Employability Fund starts.

From 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2020 we delivered 5,151 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 2,273 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2019 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 13,592 16-19 year olds in South Lanarkshire 92.6% were in education, employment or training and personal development.
