Key data from Dumfries and Galloway

From 1st of April 2020 to 30th of September 2020 we have supported 16 employers and 247 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of 25th of September 2020 there were 824 Modern Apprentices in training. The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in Dumfries & Galloway is 51%.

From 1st April 2020 to 25th September 2020 we supported 125 Modern Apprenticeship starts.

In 2019-20 there were 23 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 20 registered with employers based in the area.

From 1st June 2020 to 30th September 2020 we delivered 1,678 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 1,422 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

From 1st April 2020 to 30th September 2020, 1,602 people have registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

My World of Work

From 1st April 2020 to 25th September 2020 we funded 54 Employability Fund starts.

From 1st April 2020 to 30st September 2020 we delivered 1,563 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 637 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2020 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 5,728 16-19 year olds in Dumfries & Galloway 91.9% were in education, employment or training and personal development.
