Key data from Dumfries and Galloway

From 1st of April 2020 to 31st of March 2021 we have supported 26 employers and 414 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of the 1st of March 2021 there were 996 Modern Apprentices in training. The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in Dumfries & Galloway is 62%.

From 1st April 2020 to 1st January 2021 we supported 323 Modern Apprenticeship starts.

In 2019-20 there were 23 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 20 registered with employers based in the area.

From 1st June 2020 to 31st March 2021 we delivered 6,188 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 3,497 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

From 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2021, 2,966 people have registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

My World of Work

From 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2021 we funded 126 Employability Fund starts.

From 1st April 2020 to 31st March we delivered 3,344 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 1,098 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2020 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 5,728 16-19 year olds in Dumfries & Galloway 91.9% were in education, employment or training and personal development.
