Key data from Dumfries and Galloway

In the last 12 months to the 31st of March 2020 we supported 23 employers and 348 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of 31st of March 2020 there were 829 Modern Apprentices in training. The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in Dumfries & Galloway is 79%.

From 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2020 we supported 628 Modern Apprenticeship starts.

In 2018-19, there were 8 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 7 registered with employers based in the area.

From 1st June 2019 to 31st March 2020 we delivered 10,472 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 5,663 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

From 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2020, 6,069 people have registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

My World of Work

From 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2020 we funded 180 Employability Fund starts.

From 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2020 we delivered 4,890 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 1,615 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2019 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 5,770 16-19 year olds in Dumfries & Galloway 91.2% were in education, employment or training and personal development.
