Key data from West Dunbartonshire

From 1 April to 30 June 2021 we provided PACE support to 39 individuals dealing with redundancy in the local area.

As of the 25 June 2021 there were 819 Modern Apprentices in training.

From 1 April to 25 June 2021 we supported 62 Modern Apprenticeship starts. 40.3% of the starts in the local area were aged 16-24.

The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in West Dunbartonshire is 77.9%.

From 1 June 2020 to 31 May 2021 we delivered 6,087 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 3,223 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

From 1 April to 30 June 2021 of the 6,527 maintained school pupils in the local authority, 76% were registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

My World of Work

From 1 April to 25 June 2021 we funded 71 Employability Fund starts.

From 1 April to 30 June 2021 we delivered 651 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 307 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2020 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 3,707 16-19 year olds in West Dunbartonshire 90.2% were in education, employment or training and personal development.

In 2020-21 there were 21 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 6 registered with employers based in the area.

In 2020-21, 64 pupils started Foundation Apprenticeships in schools at SCQF Level 4-6 in this area.

In 2020-21 we invested over £4.9m in the local area.
