Key data from Renfrewshire

From 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 we have supported 6 employers and 127 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of 31 March 2022 there were 1,411 Modern Apprentices in training.

From 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 we supported 962 Modern Apprenticeship starts. 61.3% of the starts in the local area were aged 16-24.

The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in Renfrewshire is 72.0%.

From 1 June 2021 to 31 May 2022 we delivered 13,842 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 7,284 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

As at 31 May 2022 of the 10,043 maintained school pupils in the local authority, 84% were registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

From 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 we funded 252 Employability Fund starts.

From 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 we delivered 3,030 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 1,149 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2021 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 7,126 16-19 year olds in Renfrewshire 93.0% were in education, employment or training and personal development.

In 2020-21 there were 62 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 50 registered with employers based in the area.

In 2020-21, 45 pupils started Foundation Apprenticeships in schools at SCQF Level 4-6 in this area.

In 2020-21 we invested over £9.m in the local area.
