Key data from Renfrewshire

From 1 April to 30 June 2021 we provided PACE support to 63 individuals dealing with redundancy in the local area.

As of the 25 June 2021 there were 1,336 Modern Apprentices in training.

From 1 April to 25 June 2021 we supported 142 Modern Apprenticeship starts. 46.5% of the starts in the local area were aged 16-24.

The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in Renfrewshire is 74.3%.

From 1 June 2020 to 31 May 2021 we delivered 7,105 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 3,767 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

From 1 April to 30 June 2021 of the 10,106 maintained school pupils in the local authority, 80% were registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

My World of Work

From 1 April to 25 June 2021 we funded 56 Employability Fund starts.

From 1 April to 30 June 2021 we delivered 821 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 378 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2020 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 7,144 16-19 year olds in Renfrewshire 92.4% were in education, employment or training and personal development.

In 2020-21 there were 62 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 50 registered with employers based in the area.

In 2020-21, 45 pupils started Foundation Apprenticeships in schools at SCQF Level 4-6 in this area.

In 2020-21 we invested over £9m in the local area.
