Key data from Moray

From 1 of April to 30 June 2021 we have supported 22 individuals faced with redundancy in the local area.

As of the 25 June 2021 there were 669 Modern Apprentices in training.

From 1 April to 25 June 2021 we supported 57 Modern Apprenticeship starts. 47.4% of the starts in the local area were aged 16-24.

The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in Moray is 71.6%.

From 1 June 2020 to 31 May 2021 we delivered 3,211 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 1,610 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

From 1 June 2020 to 31 May 2021 of the 5,068 maintained school pupils in the local authority, 74% were registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

My World of Work

From 1 April to 25 June 2021 we funded 20 Employability Fund starts.

From 1 April to 30 June 2021 we delivered 384 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 164 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2021 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 3,572 16-19 year olds in Moray 91.8% were in education, employment or training and personal development.

In 2020-21 there were 10 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 12 registered with employers based in the area.

In 2020, 43 pupils started Foundation Apprenticeships in schools at SCQF Level 4-6 in this area.

In 2019-20 we invested over £2.9m in the local area.
