In the last 12 months to the 30 September 2018 we supported 5 employers and 48 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of 28 September 2018 there were 752 apprentices in training.

From 1 April 2018 to 30 September 2018 we supported 241 Modern Apprenticeship starts.

The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in Moray is 81%.

From 1 April 2018 to 30 September 2018 we delivered 3,830 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 2,035 people through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2018 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 3,832 16-19 year olds in Moray 91.2% were in education, employment or training and personal development.

Supporting business in Moray

We help local employers in Moray make sure they have the right skills now and in the future by providing support and advice on skills, talent development and funding.

In the last six months our Employer Engagement team has provided:

Supporting partners in Moray

We work closely with schools across Moray, supporting the My World of Work aspects of the School Partnership Agreements. Your local Partner Development and Integration Executive can help with:

  • Delivery of the successful My World of Work School Ambassador programme
  • Raising awareness and building capacity amongst teachers to use all the online resources available, including the recently developed Lesson Inserts
  • Developing new Lesson Inserts. A simple way to link the curriculum with careers

We've also organised update and awareness sessions for other local partner organisations, including after care and follow-up sessions to ensure the efficient embedding of My World of Work in their services. This has included working with the Moray LA Career Management Skills Officer.
