Key data from Falkirk

From 1 of April to 30 June 2021 we have supported 11 individuals faced with redundancy in the local area.

As of the 25 June 2021 there were 1,350 Modern Apprentices in training.

From 1 April to 25 June 2021 we supported 119 Modern Apprenticeship starts. 46.2% of the starts in the local area were aged 16-24.

The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in Falkirk is 69.1%.

From 1 June 2020 to 31 May 2021 we delivered 5,505 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 3,624 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

From 1 June 2020 to 31 May 2021 of the 9,166 maintained school pupils in the local authority, 80% were registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

My World of Work

From 1 April to 25 June 2021 we funded 42 Employability Fund starts.

From 1 April to 30 June 2021 we delivered 641 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 342 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2021 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 6,431 16-19 year olds in Falkirk 91.8% were in education, employment or training and personal development.

In 2020-21 there were 30 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 18 registered with employers based in the area.

In 2020, 194 pupils started Foundation Apprenticeships in schools at SCQF Level 4-6 in this area.

In 2019-20 we invested over £7.5m in the local area.
