Key data from Falkirk

From 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 we have supported 7 employers and 169 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of 31 March 2022 there were 1,418 Modern Apprentices in training.

From 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 we supported 906 Modern Apprenticeship starts. 57.1% of the starts in the local area were aged 16-24.

The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in Falkirk is 73.3%.

From 1 June 2021 to 31 May 2022 we delivered 10,122 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 6,212 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

As at 31 May 2022 of the 9,252 maintained school pupils in the local authority, 89% were registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

From 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 we funded 237 Employability Fund starts.

From 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 we delivered 2,576 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 1,117 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2021 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 6,431 16-19 year olds in Falkirk 91.8% were in education, employment or training and personal development.

In 2020-21 there were 30 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 18 registered with employers based in the area.

In 2020-21, 194 pupils started Foundation Apprenticeships in schools at SCQF Level 4-6 in this area.

In 2020-21 we invested over £6.7m in the local area.
