Key data from Argyll and Bute

From 1 of April to 30 June 2021 we have supported 32 individuals faced with redundancy in the local area.

As of the 25 June 2021 there were 516 Modern Apprentices in training.

From 1 April to 25 June 2021 we supported 27 Modern Apprenticeship starts. 48.2% of the starts in the local area were aged 16-24.

The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in Argyll & Bute is 78.9%.

From 1 June 2020 to 31 May 2021 we delivered 3,724 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 2,147 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

From 1 June 2020 to 31 May 2021 of the 3,150 maintained school pupils in the local authority, 76% were registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

My World of Work

From 1 April to 25 June 2021 we funded 14 Employability Fund starts.

From 1 April to 30 June 2021 we delivered 109 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 72 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2021 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 3,168 16-19 year olds in Argyll & Bute 93.5% were in education, employment or training and personal development.

In 2020-21 there were 8 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 6 registered with employers based in the area.

In 2020, 75 pupils started Foundation Apprenticeships in schools at SCQF Level 4-6 in this area.

In 2019-20 we invested over £2.9m in the local area.
