Key data from Argyll and Bute

From 1 April to 31 December 2021 we supported 45 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of 31 December 2021 there were 549 Modern Apprentices in training.

From 1 April to 31 December 2021 we supported 209 Modern Apprenticeship starts. 59.3% of the starts in the local area were aged 16-24.

The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in Argyll & Bute is 71.2%.

From 1 June to 31 December 2021 we delivered 2,317 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 1,475 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

From 1 April to 31 December 2021 we funded 42 Employability Fund starts.

From 1 April to 31 December 2021 we delivered 312 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 190 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2021 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 3,168 16-19 year olds in Argyll & Bute 93.5% were in education, employment or training and personal development.

In 2020-21 there were 8 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 6 registered with employers based in the area.

In 2020-21, 75 pupils started Foundation Apprenticeships in schools at SCQF Level 4-6 in this area.

In 2020-21 we invested over £2.9m in the local area.
