Key data from Perth and Kinross

From 1 of April to 30 June 2021 we have supported 5 employers and 287 individuals faced with redundancy in the local area.

As of the 25 June 2021 there were 964 Modern Apprentices in training.

From 1 April to 25 June 2021 we supported 87 Modern Apprenticeship starts. 57.5% of the starts in the local area were aged 16-24.

The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in Perth & Kinross is 63.6%.

From 1 June 2020 to 31 May 2021 we delivered 7,330 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 4,292 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

From 1 June 2020 to 31 May 2021 of the 7,614 maintained school pupils in the local authority, 77% were registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

My World of Work

From 1 April to 25 June 2021 we funded 23 Employability Fund starts.

From 1 April to 30 June 2021 we delivered 581 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 267 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2021 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 5,454 16-19 year olds in Perth & Kinross 93.6% were in education, employment or training and personal development.

In 2020-21 there were 26 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 32 registered with employers based in the area.

In 2020, 85 pupils started Foundation Apprenticeships in schools at SCQF Level 4-6 in this area.

In 2019-20 we invested over £4.5m in the local area.
