Key data from East Lothian

From 1st of April 2020 to 31st of December 2020 we have supported 8 employers and 183 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of the 1st of January 2021 there were 716 Modern Apprentices in training. The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in East Lothian is 78%.

From 1st April 2020 to 1st January 2021 we supported 205 Modern Apprenticeship starts.

In 2019-20 there were 10 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 6 registered with employers based in the area.

From 1st June 2020 to 31st December 2020 we delivered 3,706 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 2,519 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

From 1st April 2020 to 31st December 2020, 1,042 people have registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

My World of Work

From 1st April 2020 to 1st January 2021 we funded 78 Employability Fund starts.

From 1st April 2020 to 31st December 2020 we delivered 1,101 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 411 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2020 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 4,082 16-19 year olds in East Lothian 94.5% were in education, employment or training and personal development.
