From 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026 we supported a number of employers and 19 individuals dealing with redundancy.
As of the 31 March 2026 there were 1,095 Modern Apprentices in training.
From 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026 we supported 712 Modern Apprenticeship starts. 55.1% of the starts in the local area were aged 16-24.
The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in East Ayrshire is 78.9%.
From 1 June 2025 to 31 May 2026 we delivered 10,128 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 5,788 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.
As at the 31 May 2026 of the 6,492 maintained school pupils in the local authority, 81% were registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.
From 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026 we delivered 1,222 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 606 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.
The Annual Participation Measure 2025 showed that of the 5,239 16-19 year olds in East Ayrshire 93.5% were in education, employment or training and personal development.
In 2022-23, 75 pupils started Foundation Apprenticeships in schools at SCQF Level 4-6 in this area.
