In the last 12 months to the 30th of June 2019 we supported 11 employers and 159 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of 28th of June 2019 there were 581 Modern Apprentices in training.

From 1st April 2019 to 28th June 2019 we supported 51 Modern Apprenticeship starts.

The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in Stirling is 69%.

From 1st June 2018 to 31st May 2019 we delivered 8,657 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 4,510 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

From 1st April 2019 to 28th June 2019 we funded 21 Employability Fund starts.

The 2019 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 3,912 16-19 year olds in Stirling 94.4% were in education, employment or training and personal development.

Supporting partners in Stirling

We work closely with schools across Stirling, supporting the My World of Work aspects of the School Partnership Agreements. Your local Partner Development and Integration Executive can help with:

Delivery of the successful My World of Work School Ambassador programme
Raising awareness and building capacity amongst teachers to use all the online resources available, including the recently developed Lesson Inserts
Developing new Lesson Inserts. A simple way to link the curriculum with careers

We’ve also organised update and awareness sessions amongst other local partner organisations to embed My World of Work into their own services. This has included working with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in Stirling to ensure that My World of Work is placed firmly at the heart of their organisation.
