Key data from Dumfries and Galloway

From 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024 we supported 12 employers and 208 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of the 31 March 2024 there were 969 Modern Apprentices in training.

From 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024 we supported 712 Modern Apprenticeship starts. 54.2% of the starts in the local area were aged 16-24.

The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in Dumfries & Galloway is 76.2%.

From 1 June 2023 to 31 March 2024 we delivered 12,550 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 7,024 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

In 2021-22 there were 17 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 15 registered with employers based in the area.

In 2021-22, 57 pupils started Foundation Apprenticeships in schools at SCQF Level 4-6 in this area.
