Key data from Dumfries and Galloway

From 1 April to 30 September 2023 we have supported 7 employers and 152 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of 29 September 2023 there were 938 Modern Apprentices in training.

From 1 April to 29 September 2023 we supported 371 Modern Apprenticeship starts. 54.2% of the starts in the local area were aged 16-24.

The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in Dumfries & Galloway is 79.0%.

From 1 June to 30 September 2023 we delivered 3,423 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 2,889 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

In 2021-22, 57 pupils started Foundation Apprenticeships in schools at SCQF Level 4-6 in this area.
