Fast Track into Financial Services starting September

Employers Skills planning Employability skills

Fast Track into Financial Services is an award-winning part-time work-readiness course created to help a broad base of people develop the skills and networks needed to pursue a career in one of Scotland’s largest and most dynamic industries.

Now open for applications, Fast Track into Financial Services, is a funded work-readiness programme aimed at people looking to pursue or progress their career in Scotland’s financial services sector. The course is part-time via evening classes, starting in September and on completion, participants will receive the SCQF Level 7 Financial and Professional Services Award qualification. This award is jointly accredited by Scottish Financial Enterprise (SFE), The Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) and Skills Development Scotland.

Employers have been involved in developing a curriculum that reflects the skills and behaviours identified as important skillsets and provides participants with a good foundation to secure future employment. The course offers a unique opportunity for students to connect with industry experts and develop the skills and knowledge required to work in the financial sector.

Aimed at recent graduates, those affected by redundancy, people who are currently working but need more experience or have child-care responsibilities, Fast Track into Financial Services can help launch a new career. The course is also suitable for those looking to change their career path or reskill for a different role within the sector.

The next course starts on 5 September at City of Glasgow College and Edinburgh College. Find out more and sign up.
