Providers are reminded of their obligation the regularly check the Training Provider Payment Agreement, Training Provider Registration Agreement and Operational Rules for changes. These documents can be accessed below.

Eligibility and Application Notes

Please note in addition to meeting the assessment criteria, all applicants are subject to the following conditions:

  • Any applicant must agree to paying SDS an annual user permission fee, per administrator user, for access to the FIPS system, if their application is successful. This annual fee will be £278.52 and is non-refundable. 
  • SDS reserve the right to automatically reject any application from a training provider that has had a previous ITA agreement terminated by SDS or the Scottish Ministers within the last 3 years.
  • Applicants must complete the ITA online application form, this includes digital signatures where asked.  Handwritten applications (including handwritten signatures) cannot be accepted. 
  • All successful applicants must agree to the terms, conditions and operating rules of the Scheme
  • The courses to be offered meet the Definition of Eligible Which may be subject to change.
  • Once all forms and supporting documentation are ready for submission please email them to administration@sds.co.uk with the subject ITA Provider Registration.

Your Provider registration email should include:

  1. Application Form
  2. New Supplier Form
  3. New Customer Form
  4. Delegated Authority Form
  5. One year’s full and final accounts (most recent year)
  6. Evidence of meeting one of the five Quality Standards set out in the Schedule (page 1 of this document)

Receipt of your application will be acknowledged within five working days. If you do not receive the acknowledgement please contact  provider.administration@sds.co.uk.
