PACE is a demand led service responding to redundancies in the local area as such from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026 there was no requirement for PACE support for either employers or individuals
As of the 31 March 2026 there were 179 Modern Apprentices in training.
From 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026 we supported 129 Modern Apprenticeship starts. 66.7% of the starts in the local area were aged 16-24.
The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in Orkney Islands is 82.5%.
From 1 June 2025 to 31 May 2026 we delivered 2,268 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 1,132 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.
As at the 31 May 2026 of the 1,223 maintained school pupils in the local authority, 65% were registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.
From 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026 we delivered 478 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 185 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.
The Annual Participation Measure 2025 showed that of the 965 16-19 year olds in Orkney Islands 94.4% were in education, employment or training and personal development.
In 2022-23, 20 pupils started Foundation Apprenticeships in schools at SCQF Level 4-6 in this area.
