Key data from Fife

From 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024 we supported 21 employers and 510 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of the 31 March 2024 there were 2,772 Modern Apprentices in training.

From 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024 we supported 1,835 Modern Apprenticeship starts. 54.4% of the starts in the local area were aged 16-24.

The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in Fife is 75.4%.

From 1 June 2023 to 31 March 2024 we delivered 25,366 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 15,622 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

As at the 31 March 2024 of the 21,815 maintained school pupils in the local authority, 72% were registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

From 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024 we delivered 5,194 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 2,453 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The May 2024 Interim Participation Snapshot showed that of the 16,140 16-19 year olds in Fife 89.9% were in education, employment or training and personal development.

In 2021-22 there were 70 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 46 registered with employers based in the area.

In 2021-22, 244 pupils started Foundation Apprenticeships in schools at SCQF Level 4-6 in this area.

In 2021-22 we invested over £14.m in the local area.
