About the Workforce North Employer Group
The Workforce North Employer Group brings together senior employer leaders to provide strategic insight that helps inform the skills and workforce agenda for the Highlands and Islands.
The group provides a forum for sharing intelligence on workforce challenges, emerging skills needs and long‑term opportunities, helping to inform priorities aligned to the Workforce North Action Plan.
Roles and focus
The Employer Group contributes insight and guidance by:
- Sharing employer perspectives on current and future skills and workforce challenges
- Supporting collaboration across sectors around shared priorities
- Identifying barriers to workforce development and highlighting potential solutions
- Informing discussions on co‑investment, joint initiatives and talent attraction
- Contributing experience and intelligence that supports long‑term workforce planning
The group provides insight to inform strategic discussions, with delivery and participation open more widely across the employer community.
