Senior Phase School Service Offer: Career Guidance 1:1 Engagement and Support

The service is designed to ensure that every pupil receives the career support they need, with a particular focus on more personalisation, inclusivity, flexibility, professional empowerment and operational efficiency.

All pupils will be advised of their entitlement, as detailed in the Career Education Standard, to a 1:1 career guidance engagement with a Careers Adviser. Engagements can be initiated at any time through self-referral or partner referral, ensuring that pupils can access support when they need it most, prior to their school leave date. Pupils would then agree the frequency of further engagements with their Careers Adviser depending on the level of support they feel they need.
