SDS MyWoW Digital Team have just launched a new tool with the latest job market data and you can search by job title or by local authority area. Search results will include:

By Local Authority

  • Number of people in employment
  • Employment projected increase / decrease by 2028
  • Number of jobs advertised
  • Most advertised jobs with salary
  • Top employers - companies with most job adverts
  • Top industries advertising - click little i for info on what the industry includes
  • In-demand skills: Specialised / Common

By Job Title

  • Most advertised job title
  • Top Employer - companies that advertised most vacancies
  • Advertise salaries -entry and average
  • Number of jobs advertised over last 12 months - visual of any peak recruitment times
  • In-demand skills: Specialised / Common
  • Top areas for this job - by council area

It uses Lightcast data, they scrape and collate 'big data' sets like online job postings and focus on specific data, in this case Scottish data.
