Joined-up approach will benefit pupils across Scotland

Skills Development Scotland {SOS) and Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) have created an operating model which will ensure joined up services for young people in schools across the country.

Access professional learning resources for DYW coordinators

SDS professional learning sessions for DYW. Themes to date have included LMI, the Marketplace employer engagement platform, Careers Service input to schools and work based learning programmes.

Sector CPD

These sessions cover LMI for particular sectors in the Scottish economy and are also informed by employers who are part of the sector in supporting education in preparing young people for the world of work.

DYW/SDS Partnership Agreement and work planning model

DYW and SDS work in partnership and collaboration to provide support to schools with a variety of products and services aligned to the Careers Education Standards and this approach is outlined here.
