Events to show how apprenticeships can work for the NHS
Skills Development Scotland has joined with NHS Education for Scotland to show how apprenticeships can be part of the solution to workforce challenges across the NHS.
A series of four, free online sessions for NHS Service Managers and Workforce Development Leads is taking place across Scottish Apprenticeship Week from 2 – 6 March.
The webinars will include an overview of Scottish Apprenticeships, with other sessions focusing on where apprenticeships can support specific areas within the NHS, such as Estates and Facilities, Clinical and Non Clinical Health Care Support and administrative services including Finance, Administration and IT.
Taking place on MS Teams, attendees can find out about the types of apprenticeships in Scotland; get evidence of the benefits for the NHS and for learners; understand funding and delivery in Scotland; hear examples of existing practice across the NHS; and where to find out more or get involved.
