From 1 April to 31 December 2022 we have supported 9 employers and 194 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of 30 December 2022 there were 2,537 Modern Apprentices in training.

From 1 April to 30 December 2022 we supported 1,251 Modern Apprenticeship starts. 60.2% of the starts in the local area were aged 16-24.

The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in South Lanarkshire is 72.7%.

From 1 June to 31 December 2022 we delivered 11,666 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 8,187 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

As of 31 December 2022 of the 20,170 maintained school pupils in the local authority, 80% were registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

From 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 we funded 480 Employability Fund starts.

From 1 April to 31 December 2022 we delivered 2,678 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 1,365 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2022 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 12,569 16-19 year olds in South Lanarkshire 92.3% were in education, employment or training and personal development.

In 2021-22 there were 71 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 42 registered with employers based in the area.

In 2020-21, 456 pupils started Foundation Apprenticeships in schools at SCQF Level 4-6 in this area.

In 2021-22 we invested over £12m in the local area.
