From 1 April to 31 December 2022 we have supported a number of employers and 40 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of 30 December 2022 there were 1,114 Modern Apprentices in training.

From 1 April to 30 December 2022 we supported 538 Modern Apprenticeship starts. 59.1% of the starts in the local area were aged 16-24.

The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in North Ayrshire is 74.9%.

From 1 June to 31 December 2022 we delivered 4,879 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 3,489 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

As of 31 December 2022 of the 8,004 maintained school pupils in the local authority, 64% were registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

From 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 we funded 281 Employability Fund starts.

From 1 April to 31 December 2022 we delivered 942 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 528 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2022 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 5,255 16-19 year olds in North Ayrshire 90.8% were in education, employment or training and personal development.

In 2021-22 there were 20 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 16 registered with employers based in the area.

In 2020-21, 59 pupils started Foundation Apprenticeships in schools at SCQF Level 4-6 in this area.

In 2021-22 we invested over £5.2m in the local area.
