From 1 April to 31 December 2022 we have supported a number of employers and 6 individuals dealing with redundancy.
As of 30 December 2022 there were 867 Modern Apprentices in training.
From 1 April to 30 December 2022 we supported 419 Modern Apprenticeship starts. 60.4% of the starts in the local area were aged 16-24.
The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in East Lothian is 74.5%.
From 1 June to 31 December 2022 we delivered 3,920 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 2,908 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.
As of 31 December 2022 of the 6,509 maintained school pupils in the local authority, 61% were registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.
From 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 we funded 122 Employability Fund starts.
From 1 April to 31 December 2022 we delivered 751 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 358 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.
The 2022 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 3,988 16-19 year olds in East Lothian 93.3% were in education, employment or training and personal development.
In 2021-22 there were 8 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and * registered with employers based in the area.
In 2020-21, 52 pupils started Foundation Apprenticeships in schools at SCQF Level 4-6 in this area.
In 2021-22 we invested over £4.6m in the local area.
