Skills for Justice worked with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service to develop this new apprenticeship in Firefighting, which aims to formalise the training provision for new firefighters and offer a clear career progression route for staff.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is the national fire and rescue service in Scotland. It was formed by the merger of eight regional fire services in the country in April 2013.
