Parents and carers across Scotland joined a Skills Development Scotland (SDS) webinar which highlighted options for school leavers and how parents and carers can support them.

SDS Careers Advisers Pamela Kelly and Fiona Beltrami provided expert advice and answered parents and carers’ questions during the online session. The webinar was one of a number of events for the first ever Scottish Careers Week.

Fiona said: “It was great to have so many parents and carers join us for the session, share information with them about the different options their young person can consider and support that is available from SDS.

“That support can also be accessed through our school-based careers advisers, in our centres and at SDS’s home for online career information and advice My World of Work. For young people who may be thinking about moving on from school and their other options,  support from their parents and carers is incredibly important.”

Parents and carers can watch a recording of the session here.
