Skills Development Scotland (SDS), working with local partners, is examining the current and anticipated recruitment challenges faced by employers in the Highlands in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic and the UK’s exit from the European Union.

Working with economic development consultants Ekosgen, the research will inform the government’s decisions about policy, resources and investment in skills and training, and support to employers.

Stephen Sheridan, Regional Skills Planning Lead at SDS, said:

“As employers across the region adapt to a new economic environment, it’s vital that there’s continued focus on workforce recruitment and retention.  

“This important research will inform future decisions about policy, investment in skills and training, and support to employers – helping to shape how businesses are supported to access the critical skills they need in the future.” 

The survey will take no more than 15 minutes to do and your responses will be completely confidential.
