The finalists for this year's Scottish Education Awards have been announced.

The Awards were first launched in November 2001 by the Scottish Government and the Scottish Daily Record, with the specific aims of celebrating the successes and recognising the achievements taking place within Scottish education.

And we’re proud to once again be sponsoring and presenting the STEM Award.

This award recognises early learning and childcare settings and schools that have developed a vibrant and progressive culture and climate of continuous innovation in relation to sciences, technologies, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Finalists in this category for 2019 include:

  • McLaren High School, Stirling
  • Mearns Primary School, East Renfrewshire
  • Oakgrove Primary School, Glasgow

Finalists will attend the awards ceremony at Glasgow's Doubletree by Hilton Glasgow Central on 5 June, where each of the 15 winners will be announced.

Details of all the finalists can be found here.

Congratulations and good luck to the schools shortlisted in all the categories.
