Understanding Race Discrimination in the Workplace

This session will cover how discrimination can impact people in the workplace.  It will offer advice on how to avoid stereotyping and bias to create a more open and inclusive organisation, including the importance of inclusive recruitment practices.

The session will be run by the Central Scotland Regional Equality Council, a voluntary sector organisation who aims to eliminate inequality and discrimination so that everyone has an equal chance to learn, work and live free from prejudice and fear of harassment and violence.

Supporting Care Experienced Young People

This session will cover the barriers care experienced young people may face in entering the labour market, and provide practical advice on how to support these young people in training or employment.

The session will be run by Who Cares? Scotland, a national voluntary organisation who support care experienced people and care leavers across Scotland.
