Skills Development Scotland’s (SDS) Arbroath centre is holding a careers fair on Wednesday 2 August.

The event, at SDS’s centre at 61 Marketgate, is aimed at helping young people, aged 16–24, find training opportunities, apply for jobs, or make career choices.

Full details about the event – which is from 12pm to 3pm - are available on SDS’s Angus Facebook page or by calling 01241 433 000.

“We felt the time was right to highlight the support that is available to young people in Angus who may have just left school or college and who may be looking to find out more about the opportunities and options that are available to them. Visitors will be able to talk to SDS careers advisers, training providers and employers and take part in activities organised by employers. Our team works hard to provide one-to-one help and support for young people all over Angus and to give them the information they need to make decisions about their next steps. We hope this event will provide local young people with a clearer idea of the variety of options available to them.”
