SDS Individual Learning Accounts are changing

ILA is being refreshed over summer meaning that the scheme will be paused for a few months.

The new scheme will come into effect in October this year and will be called an Individual Training Account (ITA).

Here are some key dates:

  • Interim revised Operational Rules will be in effect from 30 March 2017
  • All Learning Provider Registration Agreements and Learning Provider Payment Agreements will be terminated from 1 July 2017

Training providers can continue to deliver courses under the existing ILA scheme over the summer, as long as they have a start date of 30 September or before. Individuals with an open account will be able to make bookings until 31 August 2017, provided the course begins no later than 30 September 2017.

Have a look at our FAQs for more information.
