PROMT allows you to add details of your courses to the National Learning Opportunities Database (NLOD).   

Courses added to PROMT will appear on our websites and be available to learners who call our helplines. PROMT puts the control in your hands, so that courses show they way you want them to, and can be edited by you.

Before you download PROMT you need to register on NLOD.

To install PROMT version 5:

  • Ensure you are logged on with admin rights for your PC. If you do not have admin rights, please contact a member of your own IT support team.
  • Click on the download link
  • Select the 'Save' option
  • Save the file to your desktop
  • Double click on the icon to begin the installation process

Alternatively, select the 'Run' option when clicking on the link below to install the software directly. Please be aware that the speed of this task will depend on your internet connection.

Once you have installed PROMT, you will need a log in to access PROMT. If you do not yet have a PROMT login, please contact or 0141 285 6100 to speak to someone in the Information Services team.

Once you've logged in you will be able to upload your course information to NLOD.
