More and more employers are showing their support for Scottish Apprenticeship Week and demonstrating the value Modern Apprentices bring to their businesses.

Those employers are among the hundreds of people who will be participating in events across Scotland from Monday 21 May to Friday 25 May.

Events like business breakfasts, networking events, skills demonstrations and apprentice and management job swaps are just some of things planned for Scottish Apprenticeship Week.

Reid Kerr College is working with Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce on a business event for employers and invited guests while Fife Council's Building Services team have organised an event for their sub-contractors. More information on events is available here.

Skills Development Scotland is encouraging businesses which employ Modern Apprentices to showcase the talent, enthusiasm and loyalty they bring to workplaces all over the country.
