SDS Local Authority and Scotland LMI Profiles
Skills Development Scotland's staff have identified access to
unitary authority level data as a crucial part of their information
requirements. We have compiled a summary LMI profile of each area
that provides an overview of:
Employment rates
Claimant count unemployment
Top 10 vacancies by occupation
Youth unemployment
In addition a separate nationwide profile for Scotland is
available.
NOMIS Local Authority Labour Market Profiles
More detailed reports, sourced from NOMIS. These contain
statistics on population, employment and economic activity,
qualifications, earnings, jobs, vacancies and information on
businesses at unitary authority level.
General Register Office for Scotland Profiles
The General Register Office for Scotland produces Council Area
Profiles which provide detailed demographic factsheets for each of
the 32 Council Areas in Scotland.
