The Skills Development Scotland Winter Briefings are available to download. These are produced to help keep partners and stakeholders informed of our activities and highlight how we work in partnership to achieve our shared objectives.
There is a national edition as well as bespoke editions for each local authority area.
Using feedback from SDS colleagues
and partners, we have improved the content and layout of the
briefings.
This time the local editions focus on youth employment - how we are
working with local partners and employers to support young people
into positive destinations (training, learning or employment). They
feature a welcome from the local area manager, local mid-year
performance highlights, a local case study and relevant news
articles.
The national edition focuses on our work with industry to support
the skills needs of employers and individuals - a vital input for
economic growth and jobs in Scotland. It features a welcome from
our Chair John McClelland, national mid-year performance
highlights, an industry case study and relevant news articles.
