Registering your courses

Categories: national training programmes, learning providers

The national learning opportunities database is a comprehensive database of thousands of available learning opportunities.

Registering your courses on the national learning opportunities database will raise your profile as a learning provider and help potential learners to find your courses more easily. Adding your details to the database makes information about your courses available to learners through our helplines, websites and careers advisers, as well as to a number of other relevant partner organisations.

Once you've registered your courses on the national learning opportunities database, Skills Development Scotland will provide you with ongoing support and access to our free PROMT software - the package we use to manage information on the database.

We can even give you and your employees workshop training in using PROMT to help you get the most out of the software, and we will allocate you your own dedicated Information Specialist. Together, these services will help to ensure that you are able to keep the information you include on the database correct and up to date.

Please note, all national training programme (NTP) learning providers are required to include NTP course information on the national learning opportunities database.

You can register through Provider Central - our dedicated area for learning providers.

If you have any comments or queries about the national learning opportunities database registration process, please contact our Information Services team on 0141 285 6100 or by email at info.services@sds.co.uk
