If you're facing redundancy or have recently been made redundant, you may have questions to ask about the redundancy. Now might also be the time to explore career options that you've previously been too busy or occupied to investigate.

Skills Development Scotland can direct you to a number of organisations that can help you to work out what's next after redundancy.

For free, confidential and impartial advice on all employment rights issues, you can contact the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS).  Call the ACAS helpline for guidance on 08457 47 47 47 from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Your local Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) can also provide free and impartial advice on employment and your rights.
