As of 29 September 2023 there were 1,144 Modern Apprentices in training.
From 1 April to 29 September 2023 we supported 361 Modern Apprenticeship starts. 59.0% of the starts in the local area were aged 16-24.
The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in East Ayrshire is 81.0%.
From 1 June to 30 September 2023 we delivered 2,743 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 2,428 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.
As at the 30 September 2023 of the 5,513 maintained school pupils in the local authority, 85% were registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.
From 1 April to 30 September 2023 we delivered 1,186 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 503 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.
The 2023 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 5,070 16-19 year olds in East Ayrshire 94.0% were in education, employment or training and personal development.
In 2021-22 there were 19 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 8 registered with employers based in the area.
In 2021-22, 23 pupils started Foundation Apprenticeships in schools at SCQF Level 4-6 in this area.
In 2021-22 we invested over £4.7m in the local area.
