Careers in Planning
Half Day Event
Callander, Wednesday 22 September
Skills Development Scotland, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs
National Park, the Royal Town Planning Institute and Asset Skills,
the Sector Skills Council for management of the built environment,
have joined forces to offer a unique opportunity to learn more, in
a very hands on way, about opportunities and careers in
planning.
Not only will you hear about job roles in planning, professional
qualification requirements, educational opportunities within the
sector, etc, you will also have the opportunity to meet members of
the planning staff of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park
authority as they conduct you on a walking tour of the Callander
area. You will learn more about the challenges planners of the
National Park work to overcome in encouraging sensitive development
whilst protecting a vulnerable rural environment.
