The National Learning Opportunities Database (NLOD) holds your course information and allows you to reach a wide range of learners.

The information you upload is used across SDS, including the My World of Work course search. It's also used when we provide advice to learners who call our helpline or visit our centres.

Get started

There are two steps to get your courses uploaded for the first time:

  1. Register as a learning provider using our registration form
  2. Download and install PROMT, free software you can use to add course details to the NLOD database

PROMT

Using this software allows you to upload courses to our database which appear on My World of Work. 

To install PROMT Version 5:

  • Ensure you are logged on with admin rights for your PC. If you do not have admin rights, please contact a member of your own IT support team
  • Click on the download button below
  • Select the 'Save' option
  • Save the file to your desktop
  • Double click on the icon to begin the installation process

Alternatively, select the 'Run' option when clicking on the link below to install the software directly. Please be aware that the speed of this task will depend on your internet connection.

System requirements

To use PROMT you will need a device using Microsoft Windows operating system - iOS installed devices are not compatible. Some users may have difficultly using PROMT on a device using Windows 7 or higher. If you are unable to use PROMT, contact Customer Services who can upload courses for you.
